    The protocol

Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI systems securely interact with software tools such as Gameloom. Gameloom runs its own MCP server, so the same market intelligence reaches you inside the Unity Editor or from the AI tool you already build with, with nothing to wire up yourself.

    Getting connected

Use Gameloom wherever you already work - inside your engine, or from the AI tool you build with.

    Unity

    Inside the Unity Editor

The Asset Store package. Install it, paste a concept, and analyse. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to configure.

    Available now
    • Unity 2022.3 or newer, Editor only
    • No account and no API key
    • Three sample concepts ship with it, so you can run one before writing anything
    • Copy or download the read as markdown
    ChatGPTClaudeLovableReplit

    From your AI tool

Gameloom runs an MCP server, so the same read can come from Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or any MCP-compatible tool, without opening Unity.

    Available soon
    • The same comparables, pricing data and failure-mode risks
    • Sign in once to link the tool to your Gameloom account
    • Nothing to build: any tool that speaks MCP can connect
    • No Unity needed, so you can run a read from wherever you work
    What comes back

Here is everything that comes back from a single run. Pick any part to see it for yourself.

    Section 01 of 08

    Verdict

A plain-language call on the concept, with a confidence line so you know how much cohort sat behind the answer. A reading, not a number.

    Verdict

A crowded but healthy segment. Concepts this close to yours survived at a higher rate than the platform average, and the survivors are separated by the depth of the late-game loop.

    12 comparables on Steam · 7 survived, 5 died · Confidence: moderate

    Privacy

Your data and your IP are never used to train AI models. Your project stays private, and your decisions get better informed. Full detail is in our privacy policy.

    • The concept or GDD text you choose to analyse. Nothing is read from your project.
    • The target platform you select, and nothing else from the window.
    • Your IP address, which any server necessarily receives.
    • A short-lived session identifier. No per-install or device identifier.
    Roadmap

    Coming Soon

The Asset Store package works only from the concept or GDD you submit and never reads your project. Project-aware analysis is a separate, opt-in integration we are building. Nothing listed here ships today.

    • Project-aware analysis, opt-in
    • Gameplay and progression review
    • Economy review against live values
    • Reads that refresh as the project moves
    • The Unity AI assistant route
    • Unreal, Godot and custom engines
    FAQs

Anything missing, ask us at contact@gameloom.ai. The full setup and troubleshooting guide is in the docs.

What does the Unity package do?
Listed on the Asset Store as "Gameloom: Game Concept Validation", it validates a game concept or GDD against real market data without leaving the Unity Editor. You get a written verdict, comparable shipped titles with their outcomes and stats, genre and platform economics, player sentiment across the cohort, failure-mode risks, and a list of games like yours that died along with the reason each one went down.
Do I need an account or an API key?
No. No account, no sign-in, no API key and no AI credits. Install the package, open it, and analyse. The hosted service does the model work, so there is nothing for you to connect and nothing to authorise.
    What does it cost?
Free. The anonymous tier is rate-limited to roughly five analyses per minute per network. If you hit that, wait about a minute and run it again.
Which Unity versions does it support?
Unity 2022.3 or newer, tested on 2022.3 LTS and Unity 6. It is Editor only, and it needs an internet connection because the analysis runs on Gameloom's hosted service.
Does it read my project files?
No. Only the concept or GDD text you choose to submit, plus the platform you pick. Your art, code, scenes, prefabs, assets and builds are never opened and stay on your computer, and nothing goes looking through your project folder.
Where does my text go, and what happens to it?
To Gameloom's hosted service, and on to our AI providers (OpenRouter as the gateway, Anthropic as the model) purely to produce the analysis. It is never used to train models and never sold, and on the anonymous path it is not stored in our application database. IP address and request metadata sit in our hosting providers' logs for up to 30 days. Full detail is at gameloom.ai/privacy and in the package's own privacy notice.
How long does a read take?
About 30 to 60 seconds. A very large GDD can take longer, up to about two minutes.
    Which platforms can I target?
iOS, Android, Steam (PC), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox. Pick where you will actually ship: comparables are matched inside the platform you choose, so a Steam game analysed as an iOS title returns a thin cohort and a weaker answer.
How big a GDD can I upload?
Upload what you have. Large documents are handled, and the window tells you exactly what it analysed. If yours runs long, lead with the parts that define the concept.
Can I use Gameloom outside Unity?
Yes. The same intelligence is available through the Gameloom MCP server to Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot or any MCP-compatible tool, so the read can happen wherever else you work.
